THE INSPIRATION - Pete the blue and gold Macaw makes his debut as one of REK’s avian subjects. The use of colour and impossibly fine detail deepens as light and shadow in the subject become the focus of this piece. set against a moody background which delicately graduates from midnight blue to intensely deep purple. REK creates his signature Ultra-lifelike depth while the softness and interplay of light and shadow in Pete’s feathers is truer to life than ever before.

THE PROCESS - All limited production REK prints are laser scanned and reproduced with genuine Epson inks. Then professionally printed onto artist grade 440gsm archival canvas from Breathing Colour in the United States. *Uk Fine Art Guild Certified.
